Our Story

Whether you view coffee as a necessity, a luxury, or a ritual, the most important element is the same: the taste! It’s simply impossible to beat the flavor and aroma of coffee brewed from freshly roasted beans. We figured we couldn’t get any fresher than roasting ourselves, so over the summer of 2021, we began the journey of starting our own roasting company.

The name Sheep & Raven comes from our two family names: Sheep from Jordan’s surname (Shearin) and Raven from Anna’s maiden name (Waldrum). Our goal is to provide a variety of locally roasted, specialty coffees. Because not only do we want to offer coffee that is fresh and flavorful, we also want to share the experience of sampling the wide spectrum of flavors you can find from coffees across the globe. Earthy to fruity, and notes of florals to notes of chocolate, we invite you to explore the beautiful world of coffee with us.
