Brazil Jazblu Peaberry
Brazilian coffees are incredibly popular, constituting at least 33% percent of the world’s coffee supply. This origin is a blend of beans produced in the Planalto de Bahia region. It has a medium body, medium acidity, and notes of Dark Chocolate, Dried Fruit, Black Currant, & Molasses. Brazilian beans are often used as a base in coffee blends because of their flavor consistency, so it’s a safe choice for those who like a traditional coffee flavor.
Our recommendation: Enjoy as a medium-dark roast in a french press or as an espresso.*
Processing Method: Washed
Farmers remove the skin and pulp from coffee cherries, usually with the help of depulper machines. The beans are then washed in giant tanks of water before being laid out to dry in the sun. This processing method tends to bring out brighter, cleaner tasting notes in coffee.
*Recommendations of roasts and brewing methods are based on our own taste and experimentation of what best highlights each coffee's unique attributes. As everyone's taste is different, please customize your order to your roast preferences and brew using your favorite method.
